WORKING AT HEIGHT Level 1, 2 & 3 (WAH) TRAINING

To provide working at height training to all levels of construction workers that expose to working on elevated work place, and to ensure participants are aware of the construction industry requirements whilst performing their job. Adequate training is critical to reduce risks, injuries and fatalities arising from working at heights activity. Our course is conducted with classroom lectures and a hands-on practical exercise where delegates are given a chance to ascend and descend our working at height structures as well as performing rescue operation for those requiring assistance at heights.

Target Group:

  • All levels construction personnel requiring the basic ​knowledge, skills and abilities to work safely at height.

Requirement by OSHA 1994/FMA 1967 (revised 1974):

The Work at Height Regulations require employers to ensure that:

All work at height is properly planned and organised

  • A risk assessment is carried out for all work conducted at height

  • Appropriate work equipment is selected, used and made available

  • Worker working at a height must be competent and aware of related hazards

  • Equipment used for work at height is properly inspected and maintained

  • Risks from fragile surfaces are properly controlled

The course participants will be required to carry out a risk assessment which include thorough examination of what harm could be caused from working at height with a view to taking the effective measures to reduce the likelihood of this harm occurring, either through avoiding the activity or where this is not reasonably practicable by carrying it out in a safe manner using work equipment that is appropriate to the task and the level of risk.
